I must apologize for the lack of posts recently. I’ve been busy writing my first Kindle book this month. After pounding out 29,000 words over the course of a week the real work of editing came into play.

Plus, I got sick just in time for the New Year and was down with a hacking cough for two weeks. There must be something in the Florida air that mixes into a noxious brew once I get back to Chicago as the same thing happened after our Labor Day trip.

Not fun.

I have some great posts lined up and will be getting them online this weekend.

I also had a great chat tonight with John Lee Dumas of Entrepreneur on Fire fame. He’s a god among podcasters with over 800 episodes to date. I’m just a newbie toying with the idea of podcast. He stopped our chat to ask ME what kind of mic I was using since he thought it sounded great. Wow. That was pretty cool.

It’s a Shure SM7B for those who are interested. I have a deep voice and sound like David Gahan from Depeche Mode when I sing and it’s the mic he uses in the studio. Most podcasters use the Heil PR40 but being a singer I like the Shure doing double duty.
